چکیده
In our earlier publications we proposed the possibility of using new EIM–IRMS ® instrumental technique and analytical parameter δD n wine ethanol, which represents δ 2 H value non-exchangeable hydrogen stable isotope ratio in to improve detection illegal production practices such as addition sugar and/or water grape must prior alcoholic fermentation. This article shows a comparative performance study between EIM-IRMS CS-qNMR methods order evaluate potential demonstrate precision two isotopic concepts their degree practices. Three batches laboratory samples were prepared from three different types grapes ( N =24 samples). Sample results obtained both are compared statistical data processing was carried out. Based on method detected 11 out 21 previously adulterated success rate 52.4% (beet sugar, or beet syrup additions). addition, wines Republic Serbia (90 samples) examined well appropriate equipment confirm authenticity.

Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry.
Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry (IRMS) is a specialized technique used to provide information about the geographic, chemical, and biological origins of substances. The ability to determine the source of an organic substance stems from the relative isotopic abundances of the elements which comprise the material. Because the isotope ratios of elements such as carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, sulfur, and...
متن کاملDetermination of urea kinetics by isotope dilution with [13C]urea and gas chromatography-isotope ratio mass spectrometry (GC-IRMS) analysis.
1. Stable urea isotopes can be used to study urea kinetics in humans. The use of stable urea isotopes for studying urea kinetic parameters in humans on a large scale is hampered by the high costs of the labelled material. We devised a urea dilution for measurement of the distribution volume, production rate and clearance of urea in healthy subjects and renal failure patients using the inexpensi...
متن کاملMeasurement of exogenous gamma-hydroxybutyric acid (GHB) in urine using isotope ratio mass spectrometry (IRMS)
Aim: The objective of the study was to check if gas chromatography/combustion/isotope ratio mass spectrometry (GC/C/IRMS) is a suitable method to differentiate between endogenous and exogenous GHB in urine. Methods: In the presented study, a controlled and monitored administration of 2.25 g GHB (Xyrem) to one participant was carried out. Spot urine samples were collected once before administrat...

متن کاملContinuous-flow isotope ratio mass spectrometry method for carbon and hydrogen isotope measurements on atmospheric methane
We describe a continuous-flow isotope ratio mass spectrometry (CF-IRMS) technique for high-precision δD and δ13C measurements of atmospheric methane on 40 mL air samples. CH4 is separated from other air components by utilizing purely physical processes based on temperature, time and mechanical valve switching. Chemical agents are avoided. Trace amounts of interfering compounds can be separated ...
